Naumachia was born in 1999 and soon after entered Selani Studio (Vader, Behemoth, Decapitated) to record their first demo – which led straight to series of live appearances and eventually to contract with Empire Records. Debut album “Wrathorn” was released in 2003, gained much media attention and sold 5000 copies. Naumachia appeared on Metalmania Festival in 2005 and at the end of this year, started recording their second album – “Callous Kagathos” – released in 2007 via Empire Records in Poland and Metal Mind europewide. This album was promoted live during such tours as Sulfur Tour 2007/2008 and Rebel Angels Tour 3.

At the January and February 2009 Naumachia was again in the Hertz studio in Bialystok to record their latest work under the watchful eye of brothers Wiesławscy. Session was preceded with the last major personnel changes. Koshen left Naumachia and the vacancy was filled with a keyboard magician from Atrophia Red Sun- VX Mind Ripper. Bass duties were taken by Mortifer known from Hate or Saltus. On percussion – Icanraz (Devilish Impresions, Christ Agony, Abused Majesty) With the new line-up, full of fresh blood and motivation Naumachia registered 41 minutes of extreme and unique BLACK DEATH METAL! Prepare for Naumachian eclipse of the sun!
